I am actually covering this...
There have benn many deportations around the country in several factories. The latest one was in Washington state ina n UPS store, but there have been in a lot of places including concerts were well know mexican bands sing.
This will not help the problem. Instead it will push the inmigrants further the underground.
We are not criminals, and i say we because I am a legal inmigrant. In fact, if we do a crime, we are automatically deported, so the argument of less criminals is faulty because there are milliosn of us...so why crime has not sky rocket?
We just want a better life. deportation does not help because we just go back to Mexico and we will try again...

There are millions of illegals working here. They deport a few here and there, but do nothing to correct the problem. Legal status background checks on all workers. Politicians don't really want to get rid of cheap labor that is benefiting the businesses that are contributing to their campaigns. But they do want to make it look like they are against illegal immigration so the voting public will approve of them. Now we are going to open the borders to Mexican trucking, another big business victory. It's a security breach, a safety issue, a drug pathway..... but big corporations will save a few bucks so Mexicans will be ruling our highways. Lookout! they drive slow in the left lane.

No, but only because I believe it's a token effort and I know that the government isn't really interested in protecting the people of this country. They have a globalization agenda and they'll continue to fool the masses until they accomplish that goal.
I'm referring to both political parties when I say government.
There is no difference, between the two, as far as protecting the middle class American is concerned.

Physically deporting illegals is not going to work if they can just cross the border again. Make it so that an illegal can't work, can't rent or buy a house, can't drive, can't go to school, can't get medical care, cant' get food..... 90% of them will self deport. Round up the other 10% at checkpoints, it works with drunk drivers.

No, because I don't think they are seriously deporting illegals. I think it's just a show to make it look like something is being done.

I think that more come in every day than are deported every month. They aren't really trying. They just want us to BELIEVE they are. Watch Bush tell us the problem is over. He's already done it once.

i think we won't see immediate results, but as soon as word gets around...and that may take a while, i do truly think it will discourage many. but there are others who just don't care...the rewards are MUCH greater than the risks.
