yes. sorta. and we do the ashes on Ash Wednesday, make a sacrifice(s) of some sort throughout the season, attend stations of the cross on fridays, along with no meat on fridays and we fast on Good Friday and Ash Wednesday(2 small meals, 1 big meal, no snacks), we celebrate Holy Thursday with washing of the feet and Good Friday with veneration of the cross.....all the Catholic traditions concerning this season. Me personally? Well, for my sacrifice I have given up all meat for all of Lent and I follow all the traditions. Does that answer your question?

Lent is only practiced by Catholics, not Protestant Christians.
I'm an atheist, so I don't observe it any more than any other pointless religious celebration.
