1) Squash it down the kitchen sink?

2) Flush it down the toilet?

3) Wrap it in plastic bag and put it in bin?

Just curious. I usually do 1) or 3).

2 or 3, the kitchen sink wouldn't work here! Older house, the plumbing can't handle any kind or garbage, I even have one of those little grates covering the drain so nothing can slip through.

I loved the garbage disposal in the sink where I used to live, though... turn it on and it could handle almost anything.

Indeed cut and fried is quite good.
Now for those who do not care to eat it...
Flush down toilet, wrap in plastic bag, but not to put down sink for it may grow and clog pipes for miles round.

I had to chuckle at Daniel's answer (above); he's right, you know!

In the American South, we make a heavy porridge of corn meal, and let it sit overnight on purpose. We then slice it and fry it (in corn oil), and serve with butter & syrup, and maybe some sausage on the side. We call it "fried mush", and it's an old-time delicacy!

If you must do number 3, please don't wrap it in a plastic bag!

Good for face pack or eat cold with maple syrup. The fried idea sounds tasty but not great for you.

Other wise put it on the compost, don't feed to the birds, they can only have porridge oats before being soaked or cooked.

Cut it in slices, roll it in corn meal, fry it and serve it to the neighbors. Just kidding, wrap it and put it in the bin.

Kitchen sink is not a good idea, you can plug it and plumbers are expensive. Two and three are safe, but why waste food? Prepare a smaller portion.
