Global warming is clearly happening. Weather patterns have been abnormal in recent years and it is evident that these changes are already affecting people in big cities who are not use to the change in weather.
I mean simply think... if people produce so much pollution and kill so many trees, won't there be some sort of negative result? The result is global warming and it's occuring because humans are ignorant.
It will affect the human race definitely if we don't take measures soon. We are all running out of time whether we know it or not because if we don't contribute some astronomical changes soon, it will be do late to prevent global warming and a possible world disaster.

Global warming can be the end of the human race if we do not start getting to control it. It is effecting us right now.

The vikings went sailing in their long rowboats. They found a green and pleasant land. They called it Greenland, and farmed there.
Then the vikings went sailing again, and found a pleasant land where wild grape vines grew, and they were very good. They called it Vinland.
THE WORLD WAS A LOT WARMER THEN....
...Now Greenland is an icy wasteland, no good at all for farming...
...And Vinland is called Newfoundland...the Newfies love it, but it looks pretty bleak to most of us, and it's too durned cold to grow grapes, wild or tame.
It would be nice if "Global Warming" would take us back to those conditions. In other words:
Been there, done that, it was really good, let's do it again!
(no, it's not the "end of the human race"!!!)

Regrettably, the facts of the global warming argument are obfuscated by political agendas, so I myself don't know who to believe. I've seen some convincing data that suggest that a small raise in temperatures would, quite rapidly, cause a drop in oxygen levels in the oceans causing a rapid die off along the lines of when the dinosaurs died off, and this could happen in a matter of a few years from now. Conversely, I've seen evidence that as recently as a thousand years ago, the planet was significantly warmer than it is now, and that Ireland had vineyards.
