Dogs... I don't think that any other animal in the history of this world can have the kind of bond that humans and dogs have. A dog will kill another dog if it threatens a person he loves. There are too many true stories of dogs rescuing people, even people they don't know. Rescue dogs at disaster areas (like tsunamis, earthquakes and the world trade center) actually get very depressed when they discover so many human corpses. The dog handlers actually have to "fake" a rescue so the dogs can work again.
Nothing like dogs.

Well I think you have to think about every individual. They may be the best animal in THEIR world or YOUR world, but not everyones. For me, the best animal is the Horse, and I'm sure all Horse-Lovers will back me up on that. So Dogs may be your favorite, but for me, compared to my horses, they are just a tiny pebble. Sorry, its my opinion. I dont really like dogs, only calm ones!

yeah. people all over the world have some sort of connection with dogs even if it is just as a farm hand. They still care for them. Asian people think they taste pretty good. But I could not knowingly eat dog. I have been friends with too many of them.
