am 36 and a bachelor and very busy . sometimes a lot of my time is also taken up by coping with blues and why,s and why nots . i have not had sex for 4 years since i have sex only when i am attracted to someone and no one night stands for me and i will not go to a hooker . from purely physical and mental angle is that abnormal . in fact between 18 and 36 i have had two year long relationships with only 2 women and been sexually inactive for the rest of time .

My opinion. You may be abnormal in today's world or society but you are not abnormal. You are you. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise or make you feel abnormal. Please, do not be depressed about it--but I'm sure you could be at times. Just live life to your own speed. You need to please yourself--be yourself--and if you try to be someone else--I don't think you will be happy. Good Luck in your life.

Sounds like you may be suffering with depression. How long do you stay, " blue". Check out a mental health website and look at the list of depression symptoms.Lack of sexual desire is one of the symptoms. 4 years without sex is, for a fact a long time. But it`s great to hear, ( from a man), that you would like to have sex only in a committed relationship!! Maybe you just need help finding the right lady!!

You are completely normal ! :)
Being sexually active at all times is not the benchmark for normalcy. We are humans, not animals. There are many many of us who don't sleep with people unless we are in a mutually long term relationship. Please don't even think you are abnormal, because you are not. I am proud of u that u don't sleep around. U must be a really nice guy. And we all go through ups and downs.... but if you feel you have been undergoing the blues for a long time, and there are issues that are bothering u, why not sit with a counselor...and talk it out? Nothing to be ashamed of. They are there to help us, to listen to us, to offer us insights. All the best to you.

That's fine. I don't know if it's different for guys, but it's perfectly normal for girls to only have had sexual relations with those you care about. You're still young, and when you meet that special someone, she'll be so appreciative that you never had any one-night stands.

Can you please email me?
