There are a lot of theories on what is best to eat when doing chemo and radiation, but because of side effects, nausea, etc. it's best to just focus on eating whatever you can manage. Some foods just don't taste the same during chemo and radiation. I found that potatoes, eggs and tomatos were about all I could manage. Radiation made every thing taste metallic, and I couldn't taste salt...

Leafy green veggies and fresh fruits. Stay away from iron because this feeds the cancers. This includes but is not limited to beef, red beets, broccoli, etc etc. Your diet is extremely important because you need to beat the cancer before the chemo beats you. So, the longer you stay healthy, the stronger your chances are of beating the cancer. Your body gets chemo and radiation throughout your whole body. And if you are weak, they cant continue the chemo. What if you die? So, eat as much as you can and eat the healthiest foods you can find without eating iron. Bran is good to take iron out of cancer cells. This is, in particular, brown rice...Or you can take ip6 pills which can be found anywhere. They are relatively cheap so just search the net.
