I had a party at my house on saturday night. During the party, a dozen individuals showed up and started to cause trouble. We told them to leave and they refused to. Once we got them outside, they started to become violent and started to throw beer bottles towards my vehicles and my guests. A fight ensued because my friends car was hit. I called the police and the police arrived 15 minutes later. I told the police what happened and my guests gave descriptions of the vehicles and suspects. One car was pulled over 3 miles away and they were arrested for DUI and marijuana possession and reckless driving. This was at 2am and my guests were staying at my house because I don't allow people to drink and drive at my house. The police gave me a citation(no fine) for the party and said its still my fault cause its my party. Everything was under control until these fools came. So If i have another party within 90 days i get a 1000 fine. But on the ticket they misspelled the street name and put th

On the citation they misspelled my address and they put my roommates name instead of the landlords name(not on there) and their phone number. So I was wondering if there is a strong chance that the police can found out who my landlord is at our house(not a apartment) and if the HOA can find out.

Like I said, the police report says that me and my guests did not cause the commotion and the suspects were arrested.

I had complete control over who came to the party. I am not sure who invited these people over. When we told them to leave because it was late, they started to get violent. Thats when I did my civic duty to notify the police. Because of their poor response time, a fight ensued. I was offered a citation(no fine) just a warning because of it. They said im still guilty because it was my party. I didn't wanna argue with the police officer because i wasn't being fined. and it was late. I haven't heard from my landlord about it. Plus also when the police arrived and the individuals dispursed I offered the police officers some water and was upfront and honest about the whole situation. This is why I believe they were cool with me.

On The ticket, my rights are on the back and it says I can argue the ticket if I called the police in order for them to keep the peace in the neighborhood

The police aren't going to tattle on you for your party getting out of hand. Plus, you called the cops, no one reported a noise disturbance against you, and you weren't charged with anything. A neighbor who knows your landlord could call them if they witnessed the commotion but I'd bet if you were on your way to being evicted you would've heard from your landlord by now, it's been almost 4 days.

I don't think I would have any more parties at all. One thing that you neglected to tell us, was the trouble makers invited?
On whether you can be evicted or not probably is answered in the lease agreement which you signed.
I would not think that misspelling the street name and getting the wrong name on the ticket would have much material effect on the outcome. It might make a difference on the $1k fine, but probably not the eviction. If they do find out and threat you with eviction, then be NICE and apologize. Then assure the HOA or the Landlord whichever, that NOTHING like this will ever happen again. And then YOU need to make sure that it doesn't.
Go to other people's parties, but don't have any more at your house.

Misspelling of the street name DOES NOT invalidate the ticket nor does putting the roommates name on the ticket (after all the roommate lives there too correct?) Yes they most certainly can find out who the landlord is and yes the landlord can evict you (not saying they will just that they can) A tenant is responsible for the actions of their guests.

Why should you receive a fine if you were doing your civic duty by trying to maintain order by calling the police? Uh... so, if you didn't call the police, you wouldn't have gotten a fine. That doesn't make ANY sense, officer. Why don't we just take the law into our own hands next time and pull out a rifle and shoot the hoodlums, officer?

I would avoid hosting parties unless I have TOTAL control over who came. I doubt you would actually be evicted for ONE party that got out of hand. If you have another, you are probably in violation of your lease.
