dynamat or tar and kevlar are normally the solution we use to quite rattles. are you sure its just your mirror thats rattling? if its the mirror rattling inside the plastic enclosure you can pull the glass out and put some self expanding foam in the case then put the glass back in just make sure you don't put so much in that it comes out the sides. If the mirror is rattling where it hits the windshield than a little more glue would probably help.

the vibrating rear view mirror is because you have your music up too damn loud. the biggest down side to this is that you are gonna have a hell of a time finding all the bolts that have fallen outta our car due to the vibrations since you can't see out the back properly... when your fenders fall off, you can only blame yourself!

If you put dynomat in your trunk it will help absord the the vibrations and actually make them sound louder. You could also try tighting the screws on the mirror so it doesn't move around.

everyone has said it, don't turn it up so loud, but this will happen in whatever vehicle your in. Just learn to live with it. ( and if you look closely, your side mirrors vibrate too)

Try putting cardboard (if possible) between the mirror and the ceiling to help stabilize it.

I was going to give you a sarcastic answer but I won't. In a few years when you can't tear yourself scream you will know what you should have done.
