Hydroelectric power is power generated by water flowing over a turbine - like the Hoover dam.

Hydroelectric power is considered to be a renewable resource. Only the construction and maintenance of the installation consume fossil fuel. No fossil fuel is directly involved in the generation of the electricity.

Not a fossil fuel. It's power generated by running water, such as that which passes thru turbines at a dam. It spins a dynamo in the turbine which creates electricity.

No not fossil. It is when water flowing to it's lowest point is dammed and run thru generating converters to create friction and therefore electricity. It has been in use for ever! Sorta like your car has an alternatoe that keeps charging your batterry while you drive.
