I'm a Christian, but I've been thinking about doubting lately. I mean, if God was real, why wouldn't he send Jesus to us NOW for a second time, instead of waiting a million years. I mean, yea, it could be tomorrow, but he went to heaven like wayyy back.

You already know the answer to this question in your heart. It's time to stop believing.

Every day Christians made up a thousand rationalizations so that they can continue to believe in something that makes no sense. It's time to stop.

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

That's God's mind on the matter. When Christ comes, even if it is another million years, it would be nothing compared to a bazillion in the next life, right?

We we don't know when, so we serve Him until, just like renters waiting for the Landlord to come for the rent when it's due. Thankfully, if we are in His familiy, there won't be any rent due, and we get to live with Him forever.

What is it that makes you Christian? God is real and if you read his word you will begin to understand how his plan is unfolding. There are a number of things that need to happen before he returns. If you read the bible and read the news, you will be fascinated. There is great hope for you if you are seeking, but loneliness ahead if you are embracing doubt. Jesus rose from the dead! That's real! Here we are 2000 years later seeing prophecies unfolding, waiting for him. Do not lose hope. This is very real. Contact me anytime to discuss it.

There are things which the Bible states which MUST and WILL come to pass before Christ's 2nd return....things like nations rising against nations, the reign of the anti-christ and other signs of the last days....Christ's return happens in God's own time as my friend above me said..

he must come a bit later so that everyone on earth hears of His Word. He must be sure that all had the opportunity to be born again such as those who live in jungles, forests, suffering economies etc. it woul dbe unfair to come for His ppl if others havent heard of Him yet.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

This will happen, but think about it, God is showing mercy in not wrapping things up now, He is allowing time for those who do not know Him to repent, turn to Him and be saved...

Creation is God expressing Himself.
Some of us believe that this is the way
life is, because this is the way life works.

I am.
Therefore, I'm possible.
Always.
