They are several different types so it depends.
There are STDs (Sexually transmitted diseases). These are viral infections that have no cure. They are: herpes, Genital Warts, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), & HIV/Aids.

Syphilis, & Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID).
Trichomonas is a parasite and can be cured with the prescription drug, metronidazole, given by mouth in a single dose.

THE WORST THING IS YOU GIVE IT TO THE OTHER PERSON. THEN IF YOU'RE A WOMAN YOU COULD END UP INFERTILE. OF COURSE THE ABSOLUTE WORST ONE CAN KILL YOU.
