Most people will say that according to your body mass index, about 15-20 pounds. 140lbs is the maximum amount of weight for your height.
But BMI doesn't always cut it.
As long as your healthy and eat right, you shouldn't worry too much about weight. It's only a number. How you feel about yourself is more important that whats on a scale.
You also have to consider muscle weight versus your percentage of body fat.
According to standard guidelines, BMI over 30 is considered obese, under 18, extremely underweight, and between 18 and 25, normal.
Healthy Weight Guidelines for Muscular, Athletic Women (BMI 18 to 25): 5'4" 115 to 150 lbs.

On Jan 17th 2009 i weighed 266.5 ( i'm 5'8" and 51 ). Today i weigh 190 and am getting to 185 hopefully in the next couple of months. I'm ripped like Wolverine now and exercise 6 days a week. It took a combination of eating well and exercise, which has been repeatedly proven to be the only safe and effective way to lose and maintain weight. Find your resting metabolism and add your calories burned from activity to it to get your maintenance calorie requirement. To safely lose 1-2 lbs a week deduct 500 calories a day. Also keep your fat intake to at least 14 grams a day for proper body functioning ( 26 grams a day is usually recommended ). Drink 8 oz of water for each 2 hrs you're awake. For exercise you only need to walk at 3 mph for an hour a day 5 days a week.

well you can go to any website yahoo google whatever. and type in BMI
and calculate yours...
here i'll do it for you [:
your BMI is 27.3 which is considered overweight, but not yet obese.
and to be at a healthy weight for your height
you'd ant a BMI of about... 22 or you could go to 23..which means you'd want to lose about..30 lbs. to have a BMI of 22.
but you could got o 24 which is the highest BMI to be healthy
which would be less than 30 lbs.
whatever your choice is.
haha sorry that was so long lol yeah.
there's a grea tsite called www.caloriesperhour.com
that tells you how many calories you'd have to burn to reach a goal weight and how long you want to be on the diet. it's great.

No set answer, it all depends on how much muscle mass that you might have. Muscle weights more than fat. You might want to consider taking your measurements and perhaps seeing where modifications can be made. An absolute great book is The Portable Personal Trainer: 100 Ways to Energize Your Workouts & Bring Out the Athelete In You [eBook by Eric Harr. A must read really!!

Without knowing your body type that is hard to say. Are you out of breath? How old are you? Go by your waist size. The word from Dr. Oz is that your waist size should not be larger than 32 inches. You can figure that one inch of waist size equals about 10 lbs. So 10 lbs for every inch over 32 inches. Good luck.

if you are ages 19-34 you should be in the 111-146 range. If you are 35 and up, you should in the 122-157 range. You are barely overweight. Don't worry too much. : )

I would suggest dropping down to maybe 130, since you're a female and quite short.
Just my estimate though.
You should check out the internet and search up "Body mass index" (BMI).
