I'm guessing no. Why they made two different versions is beyond me.

The answer is no. We do get the redesign, but we do not get the same performance packages. remember what ford did with the escort in 1997? they took a hatch back car and turned it into a 2 door coupe? well they are doing the same with the zx3. It is now a rebaged zx2 escort... but IT HAS BLUETOOTH!!!!!!! (if you watched anything about the detroit auto show, you know what im talking about.... 2 minutes on the car, 27 minutes on the new bluetooth software!)
the other poster was correct, but he left out the part of the current focus sedan design going to tesla for their "whitestar". the $50-60,000 electric sedan that can go 250 miles on a charge.

there are rumors floating around http://www.focusfanatics.com that the late 2008 focai will get awd.

Probably not. I have no idea why Ford won't sell the Euro Focus here now; I mean, you can get US Fords like the Mustang and the Fusion in Europe; I don't get it...
