LOL sounds quite normal for sure. My dog doesnt, she just looks at the TV. However a couple of years ago there were either Dominos PIzza or Pizza Hut commercials where the doorbell always would ring... my dog would take off for the door barking :)

Oh Course, it's a dogs natural instinct to want to challenge another dog that is in his own household. That dog wouldn't be use to sharing his house with another dog. It feels that same way as if you borught a new dog home. Either that or if the dog is friendly it may be inviting the dog on the TV to play with him/

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/doglessons

If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.

It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

One of them does, the other doesn't. She barks if she even sees them on tv - not just the barking.

Nope, mine don't notice the tv at all, though one time in her 7 year life, my toller barked at our door when somebody on the tv knocked on a door.

Our Aussie/Border mixture will bark on the television as quickly as in awhile, yet in many circumstances loves to observe it with me...he loves CSI! My different canines would not bark at thunder yet cries and panics each and every time a hurricane hits.

Ours don't bark, they usually just turn their heads from side to side listening. Shadow did look behind the TV once. I guess she was looking to see if the interloper was hiding back there.

Ye, then they run out the dog door and howl! They really love the movies 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians (live action ones)!
