I am a student at a cosmetology school and would like to know if there are any professionals out there who may be able to answer my question. I also wonder, how must you neutralize an artificial brown hair color?

Thank you !

double process blondes can be done on just about anyone. the nice thing about double processes is that you control the amount of lift and deposit separately. it the single-process blondes that might not work out for you. to neutralize artificial brown, you have to use a color with a base that will neutralize the existing tone. so if the brown is red-toned, use an ash base, if the hair is gold(orange)-toned use a violet base, and if it is yellow-toned use a blue base. hope i helped
