how do i get through to him?

i have a buddy that is getting married and is going to have a 6 yr old step daughter whom he bathes and wipes her but and crotch since she doesnt know how to, she is not mental in any way that i know, he doe everything cleans the house bathes her daughter adn wipes her but, the mother is very unkept also so i see why the daughter doesnt have a clue as to what to do in the bathroom but how do i get threw to him and tell him it is wrong his parents have set him down and said u cant to this since they r going on there honeymoon soon his parents are taking care of her while they are gone and they dont want to bath her they know its not right, but the mother is so stupi she cant get a clue if it was given to her so how do i get to him and show him it is wrong before something bad happends to him 1 it is not his kid he shouldnt be touching her in anyway like that and 2 she is old enought o do it herself any help would be great

you clearly don't have kids yourself!
I'm a (clean) mom of almost 6 year old twins. I don't know any child that age that bathes themselves. I mean I do my kids' hair and then put soap on a cloth or loofah and get them to scrup their body, but they don't take a bath independantly, nor do the 5/6 year old children of my friends.
Bum wiping is a little different, if it's a messy one, she's going to need help. I don't usually help my kids' with this, but sometimes it's an extra messy one and they ask for help. All his parents need to do is tell her, wipe your own bum. But I would suggest they supervise or they could wind up with a clogged toilet or poo smears on the toilet seat. I recommend they have flushable wet wipes, this will make it easier for her.

If the mother is so unclean like you say, why did your friend start dating her in the first place? I think you're probably overexaggerating. But you are right about one thing-the mother should be the one to wipe the little girl if she still needs help to do that (she should be able to wipe by herself by now though). You're probly not gonna talk your buddy out of marrying her. Hes a grown man and he'll do what he wants to. If you really think this is a match made in hell, then all you can hope for is that your buddy will come to his senses before the wedding.

First, you need to let your buddy know that he will be entering an unhealthy marriage. Second, he should not be wiping a 6 yr old girl. Since, she is not that bright, what happens when she goes and says that he touches her and he ends up in jail. Apparently, your buddy is so in love with the fact of being in love that he isn't seeing the big picture here. Something needs to be done. I would hate for him to end up behind bars for this.

If you have tried, than maybe he just isn't listening.I would think that at six years old, that she would know how too. But than again who can you pount fingers at, the mom!!!!! I would talk to the mother and set her straight, that if something should happen, than it would be on her and noone else. Good Luck!!!

Yeah, it's amazing how stupid some people can be and still be able to procreate.

That's why I love Down's syndrome people. Because of their genetic make up, they are sterile. They can live happy lives and work menial jobs and even fall in love if they are high functioning enough. There really should be an IQ test in order to keep your reproductive abilities.
