Will take any young, small breed even mixed 15 lbs or under that is potty trained and doesn't bite.

Try rescue groups for both breeds - Your vet might be able to recommend some, or try searching on "rescue" vs. "Shelter"

Go to www.petfinder.com and type in your zip code. I found a couple possibilities for you. You also have to be somewhat patient sometimes if you have a real specific breed in mind, but you should be able to find something. Thanks for adopting a shelter/rescue pet! And ignore the person above me. Steer clear of puppy mills and backyard breeders in newspapers and pet stores!!

I agree with the other answers. You might want to see if they have a waiting list at the shelters so when one comes in, they can get ahold of you. They usually do this because they want to find homes for these animals. Good luck!

Have you try to go to the pet shops or even look up in the newspapers ad's see if there are some owners who does live in youre state or even live close by to you is also selling some those breeds dogs that youre intresnting in yet .
