Just ask. If they don't respond, speak with a teacher or another adult that you trust.
"Mom, Dad...You may have noticed that I am obsessed with my eating habits and my weight. I am becoming concerned that I am developing anorexia, and I think that I should probably talk to counselor or nutritionist. Here is some are a couple of people that might be able to help me (find this the phone book). Will you help me?"
Bring them the solution to your problem. They know you have one, but might be too afraid to do something about it themselves.

Tell them, explain how you are feeling, what you do and that you want help. If you aren't comfortable with your parents speak to another trusted adult, school nurse, counselor, teacher or family member.
It is good that you recognize that your anorexia is something to be concerned about and you aren't ignoring it. Kudo's to you and best wishes in finding the help and will power to beat your anorexia.

Look as hard as it is you need to tell them flat out. But if you're afraid write them a letter and just let them process it. Ask them in the letter that when they're ready to talk to you they need to come to you. Just wait until they approach you and then just be open. I know it is hard but you have to let them decide what to do in time, but I imagine that they would have noticed that you are anorexic because it isn't easy to hide after a long time. Good Luck in your quest for help and treatment and I wish you all the best of luck!

talk to someone you totally trust FIRST before you talk to your parents. last summer i was struggling with bulimia and after a while I just couldn't deal with it by myself anymore. I got up ALL the courage I possibly could and talked to the mom of one of my good friends. telling her first helped me to get over that initial challenge of just telling anyone, plus she held me accountable for telling my mom and had me call her after I did it.
If you're religious, get on your knees and PRAY that God will prepare your parents to be open to what you have to say. Believe me, He will be there for you!
I know how hard it is and I'm rooting for you. Chances are, your parents might have an idea of what's going on and are just waiting for you to say something. Just find a time when one or the other (or both) aren't busy and ask if you can talk to them. they are there for you and they love you and want the best for you. Now go! it can only get better from here!

You should have a serious discussion with them. Sit down and present your problem, and ask honestly and genuinely for their help.
If you're afraid of their reaction, or you would like to make it easier, talk to a school counselor about it first. The counselor can schedule a mediation, of sorts, between you and your parents.
Good luck, sweetie.

Your obviously suffering with this. You need help not tomorrow...NOW...it is a serious condition and its controlling you..you are not controlling it. They might be shocked at first but will be there for you always...thats their job..they are parents...how do you think they would be if they find you unconscious or worse.. and then find out it was because of something you hidden from them...that would be worse than telling them the truth.
Please do it..

Just tell them. They'll help. Never keep a sort of problem like this to yourself.
