Would you change your religion, or still deny that it is jesus?
Just a what if question, don't get bent outta shape.

I'm an atheist but I just wanted to comment on your question.

If the tomb really did contain jesus (granted if they had some way of proving that it was him, by facial reconstruction or DNA, or whatever kind of fancy technology we have today) it would not prove or disprove God. It would just prove that Jesus existed....It doesn't prove that he performed miracles. It just means that he existed.....which I have no doubt that he did. And he was probably a nice guy. I just don't think he performed miracles and whatnot.

Get real. There is a church built on the site of Jesus' EMPTY tomb. James Cameron is no theologist, and proceeds from a misconception that The Davinci Code story is true. Jesus was without sin. This includes having sex in order to have a child. Cameron should do another Alien movie, and leave theology to theologians.

This may stir up controversy, but it will shake no faith, unless one never had any to begin with.

It's not Jesus because Jesus was resurrected by Jehovah God to heaven. I believe Jehovah more than imperfect man. Plus how would they know for sure without DNA from Mary and God's Holy Spirit. The Bible says Mary was pregnant by Holy Spirit. Does a Spirit have flesh and bones, no. So that means no DNA.

What if -
"Strange Days"
"True Lies"
"Terminator 2: Judgment Day"
"The Abyss"
"Aliens"
"Rambo: First Blood Part II"
"The Terminator"

Are all true stories? The screenplays were written by James Cameron after all.

"What if..."
What if it was discovered that the earth was really riding on the back of a huge turtle after all? Would that affect your belief in scientific observation?
What if you should learn that you really came from underneath a cabbage leaf, would that affect your understanding of "the facts of life"?
What you need to understand, is that certain "what if" 's are totally inconceivable.
To get closer to you: What if you met the creator God yourself. Would that affect your atheism?

"What if." As the Apostle Paul, himself, stated: If Christ has not risen from the dead, then we are above all people, most demoralized. As the others do, then, we should just eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we, too, will die without hope.

Just remember this supposed discovery when it has been debunked.

And, yes, idiot, we DO know the purpose of a "what if" question.

Since learned Israeli archeaologist rejected this claim in 1990's why should I believe a film maker in 2007. Sounds like another of Rivera's Capone Vault deals to me.

I would be wrong and the people I have helped in this life would have gotten help under false pretenses.
On the other hand if I am right then the people you have hindered in their faith would have been hindered by your error and you would have to accept the consequences sounds OK to me. Either way I will never suffer Hell and either way you will never go to Heaven

Then this story would have been headline news around the world. Bigger than the war, bigger than the stockmarket losses today. It's not. It's a show. That has been dis-proven time and time again.

But it doesn't.Why would I be silly enought to believe a theory, that scholars and archaeologists alike, are tearing apart? I trust them more than a movie director.

Basing a conclusion on a shoddy film that's been torn to shreds-the illogical choice.
