It would help if told us what your interests are and favorite colors. Anyway I think that you should do a red , cream and cocoa brown color scheme. Your walls would be a creamy light tan color. get some picture frames and spray paint them red, then spray on some matte finish over it. Ikea has a cute red desk and hutch for 199.00, your bed coverings would be a nice cocoa brown and you can get some red and cream toss pillows which you could probably make your self, put those on your bed. Find a huge desert picture poster on line, mount it on canvas buy using a spay on adhesive and a small wallpaper roller, get some acrylic in a bottle and some brushes and brush it all over the poster, it will look like a real painting when you are done. Get a wooden platter put red pillar candles in it of varying sizes then put some stones in the bottom. Red is your accent color, if you don't like red you can use another bold color and replace it where I put red, Floor pillows are a must 3 huge pillows and a sisal rug with a red border. Get a nice red dress and hang it on the back of your door. You can add touches of brown in other accessories and add trim that is red. hope that helped.

If you want a theme, look around on the internet for color themes, and furniture arrangement.
But I suggest individuality and personality. Think of what you like, and what kind of person you are (excluding messy, if that's the case). Buy wall borders, and posters. Consider your preferences, like jewelry, clothes, dolls, books, etc. If you want a "grown-up, yet chic room", then I recommend making things a little more neat, and select choice objects to be in plain view.
Color and placements are all up to you.
Happy room make-over!

Check out http://www.hgtv.com . They have TONS of ideas for rooms. Personally, I wouldn't go for a theme - I'd go for a style instead. Themes can easily feel cheesy. For instance, I love Asian-style furniture and accessories. That doesn't mean I'd do a room in nothing but Asian stuff.
Choose colors that remind you of things you love - places, people - anything. Use the gallon/cup/teaspoon rule. One color should be a "gallon" in the room, then add a "cup" of an accent, and a tiny "teaspoon" of a second accent. This will give you balance without feeling overloaded.

If it's wallpaper which I assume it is, why not just get a border and a gallon of paint that has some of these colors of your flowers and do the bottom part of your wall with the paint and the border at the top paint. Or vice versa or if you like go with totally wild colors like hot pint, purple and blue-green, makes a beautiful room and alot of colors to work with for accessories. good luck

It all depends on the furniture you have. You want your walls to coordinate with your furniture and bedding. Pink and Brown are good together. As is yellow and black . You could also paint just one wall as an accent wall and the rest a coordinating color. I would watch shows like Devine Design, or other HGTV decorating programs for ideas. I would also go to a paint store and get color card with some colors that you like to see what they might look like against your furnishings.

A moroccan theme would be fun. Lot's of warm and bright colors with interesting lamps and rugs. Here's an example of a moroccan styled bedroom.

I think you should do a plain wall, light colors, such as a green or blue, and get some cool dressers to go in there and a blue and black comforter {Blanket}. which I'm pretty sure you can get from Wal Mart or Target.
