Question Details: irish_trout's offered this question as a challenge: This is an argument against creationism, please offer a rebuttal? (a simple search will give you the full Q). I passed on to him a challenge to prove evolution AND A CHANCE TO WIN $250,000, offered at this reference: www.drdino.com/cse.asp?pg=250k... He not only turned this opportunity down, he further embarrassed himself by claiming THIS CHALLENGE to be a violation. (I think his challenge was also second hand, though he didn't name the source) My response to Yahoo!Answers for violation: Pure BS. Review it. It's obvious.

Trick question. The point was that he had no good answer, even for me.

The problem with Dr. Dino's offer is that it is impossible to win.
If you read it then you will see that he wants you to prove that life and the universe can arise without a God. Therefore you have to prove God doesn't exist. That is impossible because you cannot prove that something DOESN'T exist.
Another point is that he wants an evolutionist to explain the universe coming into being. Why would you ask a biologist an astrophysics question?
Plus, you don't have to believe in the big bang to believe in evolution and visa versa. Just because the universe came into being because of a creator has no impact on whether biological evolution has occurred. There are a lot of Christians that believe in evolution and God.
Hope this helps, email me if you want to know more.

It was not obvious from that web site how such a proof might be submitted, so I have sent in an inquiry. Stay tuned; I'll update this response with any interesting developments.
Postscript: I have received a reply concerning my proposed proof submission. No information was included as to how to do so, or houw it would be judged if I did; the reply simply claimed that science was wrong. I replied to this, demanding that they put up or shut up. Stay tuned...

"Dr." Kent Hovind's '$250,000 Evolution Challenge' is a load of crap in itself.
It defines evolution very vaguely (in ways rigged so no one can win the challenge).
According to Hovind, to win the contest, you must prove evolution created the universe and everything in it.
However, evolution says nothing about this; only what happened once life began.

First - provide a link
Second - Dr. Dino's challenge is a clear and obvious setup that has been talked to death on the internets. Most people won't slow down long enough to laugh.

interesting... So a "doctor" with a fake PhD from an unaccredited university, who is currently in prison for 58 counts of fraud, thinks that that evolution is fake.
I'm completely convinced. Where do I sign?

i ponder whether those US Senators calling for Assange's execution could be screaming as loudly if cables concerning to a definite Chappaquiddick incident replaced into released, or many different intense profile conceal united statesby skill of their maximum excellent and appropriate... there's a great distinction leaking documentation concerning to shown real incidences, and leaking documents in accordance with a fabrication, and dressing it up as fact, yet in spite of this, the previous uk government has sort for that! i think of persons are clever adequate to return to their very own conclusions of this - yet while Assange called for the execution of the peeps who leaked it, or stated his existence replaced into in risk, then that is hypocracy.

hmm. well it seems that he was referring to your challenge of proving evolution(or meant to). either that, or he does not know what he is talking about. he is probably just some geek out there arguing about the meaning of life, but who knows?

Evolution? Why would that be necessary if we are created in the image of God? God bears no resemblence to a monkey.
