I don't know of volunteer opportunities specific to your area, but some of the ones that I've enjoyed most in my life can normally be found in any community. My church youth group went on a Habitat for Humanity trip which was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. When I was little I had an adopted grandparent at my local nursing home that I would go and visit two or three times a week. I've also volunteered at the Humane Society walking the dogs and brushing the cats which was great. I think it's terrific that this is something you want to do. Good luck.

It is a great idea to start volunteering. It's always great to help out but it'll also give you skills to add to your resume when you are able to apply for jobs.
I researched your town on the web and found these ideas, you'll probaby have to look them up online or in the phone book so you can contact them. Just give them a call and let them know you are a local fourteen year old looking to volunteer and ask if they have anything open for you.
Ideas listed below:
InRoads
Churches
Your School (talk to guidance counselor or vice principal)
Local College or Community College (several student organizations that always need help)
Local Hospice or Retirement Home
Local Child Care Center
Local Parks Department
Local Animal Shelter
Tulalip Tribes
Planned Parenthood
Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition
Local Chamber of Commerce

Ask your school, the high school has multiple programs for volunteer and you can still join the club even if you arnt in high school. Such as key club.
Also, go the the local libary, or even the hospital, ask the staff you like to volunteer, they will give you a form to fill out.
If you are smart, you can tutor kids after school for free. Ask your teacher for a voulnteer form, and their parents can fill it out.
Best choice will be working at a school club like KEY, or what ever your school has. Join and you work with other students after school. You earn alot of hours which is good for your college report.
When your 15, you have a limit to work, so you cant really work till 16.

I would suggest that you contact your local volunteer center. They can provide you with one-time, short-term, and long-term volunteer opportunities that match your interests and meet real community needs.
I like to recommend volunteer centers that are Hands On Network affiliates. Your local affiliate is called Seattle Works. You can find your volunteer center through the following links:
http://www.seattleworks.org
http://www.handsonnetwork.org/our-network/
http://www.pointsoflight.org/centers/find_center.cfm
Volunteer centers can also connect you with various non-profit organizations in your community. I've worked on many diverse projects through my volunteer center, including tutoring children, working at the food bank, and cleaning up our local parks and beaches.
Good luck!
