Question Details: I downloaded about 300 photos from my camera's memory card onto a digital picture frame. Somehow everything was deleted. The pictures can not be found anywhere. When I insert the memory card back into the camera it says "Write" Can anyone tell me if it is possible to restore these pictures. The birth of my 2 week old was on this memory card!!

the digital picture frame is not a mass storage device; rather than downloading directly to the frame, download to a computer first and then from the computer to the frame, or if that isn't possible just download to a computer, then to the frame after the fact, that way you still have the images somewhere. it isn't the same as downloading to a printer where you can print on the fly and nothing writes back to the memory card. somehow the picture frame wrote data back to the memory card. chances are you can still digital image recovery software to read the images from the card, but you'll need a card reader to do that.

Hold it!
Don't put your card back into your camera and don't even think about writing a file onto it.
Your card must have come with a mini CD that has a recovery program on it. If it didn't then go to the card manufacturers site and download it.
Install it and go through the steps required to restore the info, most of them can recover your files if you haven't written anything on the card.

either it got deleted, or you have to hook it up to a computer and try to find them that way.
