I feel that they have as much right to their own opinion as I have. In the course of a civil dispute, each side presents their case, along with supporting facts, and if after intelligent debate has occured, there is still disagreement, than we must decide that this is an issue upon which we agree to disagree.

Actually disagreement and argument forms a basis for evaluation and learning, so long as it remains civil between two or more people it is a positive. Intelligent people consider all opinions, adopt what is valid and discard those which are flawed or invalid.

The process is called reasoning, it is the foundation of communication, sanity and healthy thought process.

I enjoy discourse and dialog with people of opposing veiw points, a good argument is fun to engage in.

I ask a lot of truthful and honest questions on this site and I have a lot of people that takes things the wrong way and respond disreaspectfully. People like JamaicanV and badkitty1 really need to grow up. Its not the disagreeing I have a problem with it is the disreaspect, like cussing and vulgar language and lieing on people.

Theologically? Psh- indifferent. When I talk to people, it's not for me to stimulate them, but for ME to garner what knowledge THEY have to offer. I always listen and consider what they're saying, especially about religion, etc. So- I figure, often indifference. Anger only when people are absolutely adamant that I'm wrong and they're right. THAT annoys the crap out of me.
Anyways, good question!

The only ones I feel sorry for is the ones whom use their religion, which ever that religion may be, to promote division and hate. We are all individuals and not everyone is meant to walk the same path. Which religion one chooses, or doesn't choose as the case may be, is an individual decision and is not right nor wrong but just is.

I work with the public so someone always disagrees with me on something and that I can handle. But when you listen to them and then try to explain your side on the situation and they just won't hear it,that's frustrating. You should always have the courtesy of hearing someone out-they may have a point you really hadn't thought about.

A person is free to disagree with me.
He can believe what I say or not.
The only thing I don't like is obscenity.
I will report that.
I will not report anyone who tells the truth.
Like a certain other religion that is on this site. The truth doesn't bother me as it bothers others.

I just feel you say tomatoes i say tomatoes. There are very few people in this life who will agree with you on everything others having differing opinions than you is the norm. If you where going to be angry with everyone with a differing opinion i think you would spend most of your days mad. I have my beliefs and opinions and others in my opinion are perfectly entitled to there's. I'm not forcing anyone to believe what i believe and no one is forcing me and as long as that is so live and let live i say.

I feel alot of things when people disagree with me and it really depends on how and why they disagree with me.

One of my favorite disagreements is when someone disagrees with me theologically. On a side note however I hate it when I get a thumbs down on answers because you have no idea as to why they disagreed with you. What I love about the theological disagreement is it opens up into religious philosophy and it really challenges me to consider my experience as a human being.

I will try to explain my point of view to them and listen to what the have to say. Arguing for the sake of arguing will never get you anywhere, specifically if you are trying to convert someone to your belief system.
At some point, though, it becomes necessary to "agree to disagree". I have several friends with whom I just do not discuss religion because it only ends in frustration and conflict.
