If you walk past someone you've met (and talked to only once), would you say hi first or would you expect him to say hi. If you liked him, would it even be harder for you? If he doesn't say anything would you finally give up? Give me your input.

oh and IF you do happen to give up on him, what would you do to get over it?

Well the way I am, I'm not shy. Whether I like the guy or not, but I always expect them to make the first move or else we usually don't talk. That's just how I am, with a few exceptions. If he didn't say anything and I liked him, I would think that he didn't like me, so I would put my feelings elsewhere. I tend to heal quickly. I would avoid him every way possible and put my sights on someone who thought I was worth his time.

If he didn't say anything I'd give up. I think girls overall expect guys to make the first move, and if the girl is shy, they'd feel bad if a guy they liked didn't make the first move. And yes, it is harder to say hi to guys a shy girl likes...fear of rejection.

Getting over that is always hard. Once you give up you really just move on and find a different guy. One who says hi to you...

This is coming from an extremely shy person...

Yes... you will not get anywhere if you don't make the first move.. It takes an enormous amount of courage to go up to anyone and just say hi... and trust me, if she likes you, that makes it even harder.

Hmm, well, I would, being shy, much rather he say hi first. I would almost always never be the one to say hi first. If I liked him, it would of course be harder for me. And if he doesn't say anything, I would assume he didn't really like me, but I wouldn't do that much to get over it.

I really liked this SHY boy one time- but I was shy too........So all we did was look at eachother in the passing, and never said ANYTHING. This happened for about a year.

Then, after making sure I felt the same vibe as him, I went ahead and asked him out. (I couldn't wait any longer) But not every girl is the same. If you let the situation sit too long, you might lose your chance.

If I had never went up to him, we would have never went out.

if we ve talked in the previous then it might matter on WHAT we observed. I recommend if it replace into for the period of type and he asked for a pencil then no, I wouldnt dare say something. yet as quickly as we in basic terms began to have a random communication approximately something, then sure. If I enjoyed him it may well be much extra awkward however yet i'd attempt my desirable. i'd make eye touch to make effective he recollects me. yet i in my opinion shy with adult males so maximum circumstances I dont say something lol. And, properly I cant provide up on something I by no skill set a objective to. I in basic terms automaticly assume hes taken. AND sure, he would could make the 1st flow on me cuz I dont budge...cux Im terrified.

ok, so i am pretty shy when not around my friends. which means that around most guys and sum girls, i am just really shy. there is this one guy i kind of like who i have like never talked to... if we were walking past in the hallway i would definatley not sa hi to him.... unless i was really unshy at the moment.... i would kind of want him to say sumthing first. i am just too shy..... i dont really give up on him though, cuz i like a bunch of different guys, and one more isnt that bad... lol, but ya i still like him, but not as much as some of these other guys i like.

I wait for the guy. to some extent. If I really like him I'll make a move sooner or later but if it's just a small crush I give up after a while...If you "make a move" make it casual, get to know her first. Become her friend :D

well,if we only talked once,it would be hard for ME to say hi, although i would give a smile or smirk.if i liked him, i think it would be harder, because some girls are afraid of rejection. thats my input on this situation,or question.
