Truth is a majority do not know much about Global Warming. I used to think "ehh the earths cycles get over" but I'm in Geography 101 now and it's remarkable. See the green house gasses *Co2, methane, water vapor and o3 (ozone)* are natural. But since the 1800's our use of Coal and Fossil fuels has shot up. We're poring Co2 into our skys which makes the suns ray (terrestrial radiation) to get stuck basically on earth thus heating it up. That's Global warming. Now temps and Co2 amounts go up and down all the time because of seasons. During spring when plants bloom there is more Co2 and less when plants are dormant. But without the ability to draw the graph here's what you can do get a pen and paper draw a one inch line diagonally to the right up and back down about 4-5 times. Then draw you line about 4 inches up. That's about how much warmer we've gotten already as far as Co2 is concerned. Al Gore makes it a bit dramatic but his facts are right and globally people need to begin to pass the age of oil. And why should we care, because this is the only earth we have right now and we just care for it.

You don't have to care about it, as long as your not part of the problem.
However, the system of evoloution is a gradual process - so don't bank on growing a pair of Ray Band sunglasses or factor 40 skin before you starve to death.
Simple little diagram for you.
Plants need sun and water to grow, you muck around with the temprature control to much, the plants will not grow so well, so less harvests, which equals less food. You couple that with the rise in water levels from all that fresh water being relased from the polar caps, and you loose the coastle belts, lots of nice farm land, and then when the climate gets too hot, the trans-anlantic conveyor of hot water in our earths oceans shuts down and we are plunged into an ice age. The amazon becomes a desert, and Europe and North America become a Winter wonderland - neither any good for food production.
It is happening now, not some thing that is going to happen. the sea is much hotter, and weather more violent and frequent. The problem is that the polution we throw up into the air is actually helping to cool the planet down. Unfortunatly it is causing cancer, and shifting rain clouds away from Africa, but it is hiding the full impact of how much we have warmed up the planet. Wake up and smell the roses, or do the rest of the globe a favour, and do yourself in, because if you are not part of the soloution, you are part of the problem!

We wont have to worry about solving global warming, but to stall it.
Experts write now concluded we can live in Mars with weakin atmosphere for a warm earth like climate. Its filled with carbon dioxide and methan, but can fix the air through cycles and ATP for nitrogen mixture. (we need nitrogen mix oxygen to live) It will take several hundreds of years...
Also dont think im some kind of sci fi nerd, cause this is a fact from a high school AP gifted student answerin your question.
Global Warming will kill the earth, the atmosphere will fall, and flooding will happen, only virus and bacteria (euko, prot) will live.
Earth will be full of life with simple organisms, and will evolve (again, like 4.5 billion years ago)
to complex animals in a couple billion years.
BUT... by then the sun will explode, with the blast, the earth will be gone, and the gas will compress to make a new sun, by then we will be tiny tiny tiny little gases floating in space. Since matter can not be destroyed, only changed.

Because every time someone brings up global warming the temperature here goes from 60 to 0 and I'm tired of it. Winter here in Kentucky is the coldest I have seen. Gotta be that global warming. After all, look who is worried about it, Al Gore. Isn't he the bright one on the block.

Even IF the theory of evolution was accurate, it would be millions of years before humans evolve. Either way, global warming will hurt agriculture and the economy in the next new centuries, even if global warming is caused by nature, and not by mankind.

Global Warming is just one more step to the end of our world: pretty much the plantet Earth. The slightest change in your environment can cause extinction. Dying is fun.. want a balloon?

First of all, we shouldn't flatter ourselves to think we created the warming of the Earth's climate. Second, caring about the environment is about not being selfish. Sure, you aren't going to be around forever, but we have children and their children, etc. Even if that's not a good enough reason....doesn't it make sense to try and cut back on pollution so that our drinking water stays clean enough to actually drink?

OK, first of all, the chances evolution exists is a tornado moving into a junk yard and making a fully-fueled, fully functional 747, seven times in a row! second of all, though it doesn't exist, evolution is WAY slower then that. third of all, global warming is a good thing! more CO2 = flourishing plants and more oxygen.

There are just as many scientists that think that "Global Warming" is junk science as those that believe it. If you go back to the 80's, magazines were shouting about the dangers of "Global Cooling" using the same buzz words we are hearing from Al Gore today.
In summary, you shouldn't care about global warming. It's crap!

Amusing, but shows a lack of understanding of what is purported to be "global warming". It's not an increase in violet radiation, just surface temperature.
