Prove suicide is bad?

Prove it is good. Suicide may relieve pain for the one suffering but leaves a longer lasting pain for the ones left behind for many generations. Suicide victims take many lives with them...more than what the eye can see.

Murder is prohibited by God (Commandment #6).

Suicide is self-murder.

"no murderer has eternal life" (1John 3:15).

The opposite of eternal life, is hell.

Hell is bad. Very bad. No relief at all.

In fact, it is soooo much worse than the temporary struggles of this life, AND it goes on forever! You can't commit suicide when you're in Hell. But then, it is "Hell," and this life is not, though at times it seems hellish.

God didn't give us life so that we trash it, but he also didn't create us to be happy without Him. Jesus makes all the difference. Seek Him at all costs.

It depends on where youre coming from if youre christian your most likely going to hell if you live for nothing then you just die personally when I didnt know what I believed when i wanted to commit suicide i always felt there was concequences.
But its bad for the ppl around you if its a failed attempt you can end up in a counciling place or permanetly injured...and its like giving up which aint the best thing to always do.

Suicide is not BAD or EVIL . It may be the only way to end a person`s suffering .Religion teaches that it is bad because indirectly it means that person will no longer be donating to the collection plate .

Unless and until it touches you personally you have no idea the damage it does to those close to the victim. It may be the choice of last resort but the pain and suffering suicide leaves in it's wake can not be defended. I know this from personal experience.

Well I just think it's a selfish thing to do. Someone loves you and someone will be devastated when you die....Also I believe God give you the gift of life. It's upsetting when people feel this is their only out b/c there is always help somewhere like a hospital, hotline, church...it's not the only option.

You are dead, conscious of nothing.
As Christians, we are interested in how Jehovah God views suicide. To Jehovah human life is precious and sacred. (Genesis 9:5; Psalm 36:9) The intentional killing of oneself is self-murder, and it is therefore displeasing in God’s eyes. (Exodus 20:13; 1 John 3:15)

Cheating yourself out of serving God and serving your fellow man. Cheating others of your presence. Cheating God of His plan for you in this world. Yes, it is bad. If you are talking abour yourself, hang in there. Some day you will be glad you did. and a lot of people will be glad you did. Because suffering will have made you into a powerful and good person.

It's not bad.
Actually it's quite effective.
However, many times the decision is made out of desperation and hoplessness, where other solutions could have worked.

But hey, in some cases, it's the only way out.
