I remember eating garden burgers like 15 years ago, but not Boca burgers. I think garden came first.

Boca Burger Co. was born in 1993 on Fort Lauderdale, FL when a local restaurant owner noticed that a lot of people in the restaurants were ordering veggies burgers.

Garden Burger, comes from Portland or Gresham, Oregon
(not sure were exactly) and it was created also by a restaurant owner, in 1983. The difference was this restaurant was actually a Vegetarian one called Garden House. They created this kind of veggies loaf in order to use up ingredients and then they served this a sandwich the next day, they started calling it a garden burger and the rest is history.

The boca burger grew in the garden burger...so the garden came first.
