I want you to find an enticing picture of someone of the same gender. It needn't be lustful or graphic, just someone attractive of your gender.

For five minutes, I want you to make the CHOICE to desire them, to sincerely want to feel them against you, to hold you in their arms and kiss them. Again, you don't have to get lewd or go to the point of sin -- the important idea is choose to be in a state where you would romantically date this person.

Come back and tell us how it goes. Were you able to make that choice? Could you genuinely choose to desire someone of the same gender, even for just five minutes?

Squishy:

Ah, you have some gay fantasies? Fair enough... how did you come to the decision to have them, acted on or not, either way?

I'm intrigued by your answer and would genuinely like to hear more.

Excellent question to ask, JP. Pity most won't consider it. Still, some may.

Hmm Five minutes is a tough one, is there a monetary prize I can add to the mix? It's hard to lust after something I see in the locker room every hockey game. I'd much rather punch my fellow man in the arm than manipulate his magilacudy. That said. I could care less that other people find that kind of thing attractive. To each his own. At least those that choose an alternative lifestyle aren't trying to kill me just because I don't believe in God. For that, the gays and lesbians get my props!

I could find an enticing picture of someone of the same gender etc.. , but I'd be cheating as I am not heterosexual to begin with. ;-)

Excellent challenge though. It's a shame many will not get the point you are trying to make.

No luck and heres why-

Any rational, semi-intelligent, lucid, quasi liturate individual realizes that homosexuality is not a choice. This experiment has the desired affect.

Damn sexy Channing Tatum. My response took so long because I got carried away and looked at Vin Diesel, Brad Pitt, Usher, Jake Gyllenhal, Tobey McGuire, and Johnny Deep(yes I know I mispelled it).

I don't find kissing somebody with stubble a turn on, or suffer from penis envy, so I not that interested in my fellow men, as sexual partners, or in thier physics, I am too distracted by the women, so your task does not really get off the ground with me... sorry

You dont understand. It is not possible for me to even begin to do that. You see, i can not possibly find a man enticing. Thats about like me asking you to find a picture of a goat and do the same. Could you do that? Maybe you can turn your sexuality on and off like a light switch, maybe thats where your morals and standards are, but i just dont work that way.

I don't think being gay is an option. I don't have anything against gay people nor do I condemn them becuase there is nothing to condemn. I think they were born that way and it wasn't their choice.

Oh, Eva Mendez! Just kidding. Of course no one can choose. If I did "choose" to start feeling attracted to women, I don't know if my husband would be worried or happy.

I can find women attractive. I don't want to get busy with them; it's just not me. But I do see women and think "wow, she's gorgeous!"
