Arpeggios use 1, 3, and 5.

I'm not entirely sure about the minor scales, but for arpeggios you use the fingers 1,3, and 5, which, on the right hand, is the thumb(1) the middle finger (3) and the pinky (5). On the left hand, they are the pinky (1) middle finger (3), and thumb(5). I'm going to assume you know how to read music, so start on the lower ledger note C. Place your left hand pinky on that note, the third one on E, and the fifth one on G. Then play CEG, and do the same with your right hand. Repeat until you get up to the CEG above middle C. Play that CEG, then just take your index finger on your left hand and play the next C. Next, play GEC, but start with your pinky on your right hand and thumb on the left hand and reverse the order of fingers. I'm not very good with the minor scales, but my guess would be that you use the same fingering you would with a major scale, but put in the sharps and flats.
