Yes, it certainly seems to be if the actions of Muslims are any indication.

All religions teach good things and their people are supposed to do the right things. Islam is not different than any other religion. There are a few factors to consider. First, Muslim countries are not superpowers anymore. as a matter of the fact, most of them are considered to be 3rd world countries (even with all those resources).

Second, Muslims have to practice their religion based on the strictest laws first established a long time ago. For example, only the Arabic scripts are used no matter what country they are from. The most obvious item is the word for GOD.

If you combine the sense of inferiority (defeat) and very strict teachings, you will get us vs. them. I am pretty much sure that the roles of us and them were very different and in some cases were the opposite of what exists now.

As a non-practicing half Christian/Muslim, I should add that technically Americans and most Europeans are not true Christians. By that I mean that the religion is not taken very seriously. I am sure that if you were to switch the roles of Christians/Jews with Muslims, things might have not been that much different. Only the roles would have been switched.

Islam isn't a religion of evil. There is no religion of evil because believing in God excludes any evil. Islam proclaims peace, love, brotherhood. It's a great misery that some people are not religious enough to fight the evil and hate inside of them, and it's a pity that aggressive people who only wear the title of a muslim attract so much attention of the media.

Yes it is not a religion of the one true God. They worship Allah not the Trinity. Any religion besides Christianity is evil. Islam is not peaceful like many of you believe. The media portrays it that way but it isnt. People are misled by the media everyday. Research dont believe what you hear if you do then youre a fool. Its a shame this generation has so much information but limited knowledge. Peace out............

Here's a good experiment: List all the nations that experienced horrid acts of terror in the past ten years (including the USA). Now list all the events that were NOT caused by radical Muslims. Was it Roman Catholics who bombed the London buses? Was it Baptists who blew up the trains in Madrid? How about the murders of those Russian school kids? Was that done by Mormons?

Sorry I can't answer your question. Why don't you think about it for a while.

The fundamental question is what does Islam teach. Like most religions it claims to teach it's adherents to love thy neighbor and all. However I think the fault is that most religions are just belief systems that do not really affect peoples motivation to love. They are simply justifications. We see it all of the time one religion or another claims to be god's chosen group and they think that give them license to abuse their fellow man as if somehow inferior to themselves. The root of the problem lies with religions inability to motivate people to follow right principles even in the face of adversity.

No. It seems that there is a lot of Islam-bashing on this site.

Although I guess you could argue the meaning of evil...

It says in the Word of God that the devil is very cunning and will trick people into prasing false Gods when theyre really only praising him. Lucifer wanted to be prasied even in heaven, he told God angels should praise me because i am so great. God than cast Satan out of heaven and hes been praised ever since.
