When going to the theater do you ever sneak in your own snacks instead of paying the really high price of the movie theater,if so what do you bring?

Me I've put 3 cans of soda in my purse,a can of pringles and a snickers bar....what about you?

Of course I've done this
There's been so many times now that I forgot everything I've taken in
Burritos, candy, tacos, sodas, chips, water
But the theater close by actually let's you walk in with outside food so there's no need to hide any longer
I just walk right in with a starbucks in my hand and a burrito in the other

I bring my own snacks into movie theaters ALL THE TIME! If they didn't charge $3 for candy you can get for .75c, no one would need to. I love bringing in a pint of ice cream. There's just something special about waiting for it to get soft, and then whipping out the metal spoon that I brought from home to eat it with, when it's ready. And knowing that I'm not supposed to be bringing in outside food makes it taste that much better!

Ha,ha - everytime I go! I usually sneak in water or a can of diet Coke, my own candy like peanut M&Ms or Raisenettes, or snacks (100 Calorie packs of cheese nips or potato chips). Movie Theater prices are way too ridiculous!

Definately, I don't want a family sized bag of M&M's and a liter of cola because then I will just eat the whole bag while I am sitting on my but watching the movie, and by the time the movie is over I will be so hyped up with cafiene and sugar it's sick. I would rather have a bottle of water, and a little bag of M&M's that way it only costs me $2 topps.

We shop at Target for 'movie candy' and take that in. Whoppers, Kit Kat Bites, stuff like that. I pay about .99 for a large box, which is a fraction of what the theater sells it for. I usually take in my own bottle of water too. The only thing I won't take in is movie popcorn...there's no substitute for good movie popcorn with butter.

I don't even go to the movies and I know to pack snacks! My son loves to go, and when I drop him and his friends off, I am sure to pack his backpack with snacks..... he has never been caught bringing in the "contraband" ; and I am thankful for that, cuz I don't think I could afford to pay for the movies and the snacks... ! I don't understand how they can reasonable sell a box of candy for $3-4 it's insane!

Amen sister! Just did it Friday night, took my kids to see Night at the Museum and stopped at the dollar store before to get goodies and I stuck 2 sodas in my purse, too. My son wanted milk duds and my daughter got a Hersey's bar and Rolos. I'm too cheap to pay 1.75 for a candy bar and I just DARE them to try and look in my bag!!!

Of course! I have emptied my purse before and when the kid was little I made him wear a mickey mouse fanny pack. Cans of soda, whatever the kids pick out, licorice, gummy bears, granola bars, graham crackers, whatever....
