Some are intolerant extremeists. And some who were oppressed, and their parents might have been killed.
And also, George Washington was known as a terrorist too for tat time. And there were terrorists in Northern Ireland. And the Christians slaughtered more than 6 million jews.
Dont lash out at me with profanity. Thr truth hurts. And yes, im Proud to be Muslim.

Just like every sect of society, there are deviations to standard norm. Islam is no exeption to this historical and widespraed truth. I recently watched a documentary on Mohommad, and I found that Islam contains many of the same values and practices as early christianity, partly because mohammed was a rational man, and partly founded his church on the basic principles of monotheism (one god religion). The bottom line is that neither christianity, Islam, or judaism condones these acts as right. These suicide bombers and terrorists are just as rejected by their own faith as you reject them as being cowards and wrong. The reason we associate modern terrorism with Jihad, is simply ignorance for the true meaning of jihad, which is the struggle to maintain and better your connection with God despite your circumstances. I hope this informs you a little, and perhaps alters slightly your reasonable misconception.

You mean what does that say about Muslims.
They are ignorant of their own religion.
Islam IS pure..Muslims are NOT.
Islam spread so fast trough Europe and Asia when it was revealed and the Muslims then were true Muslims (for the most part..no one is perfect) and they treated women with respect and liberated them from the unruly and unjust kings of Arabia...and If you ask well why isn't Islam and Muslims like that today.my answer Islam is still the same..Muslims are not.
Islam never changed (unlike the Bible)
but Muslims have become full of hate..and i cant blame them entirely. I mean when you are terrorized in your own land you tend to grow up with hate. Like in Iraq right now.
I feel more sorry for the civilians than our American soldiers.
So to answer..it says that they don't follow Islam the way they should. Period end of story. They are ignorant.

Christians, Jews, Catholics and Protestants have all had their periods of shame. However, most of those problems,(with the possible exception of Northern Ireland) are long past. Most of the religions mentioned above are practiced in highly civilized and advanced societies. Now just imagine someone that's known nothing but deserts and migrating from one sand heap to another suddenly given access to billions of dollars in oil money, (and all it can buy). Regardless of religion, that's a reason to be on guard.

It's very difficult to portray your religion as one of peace and progressiveness (if that's even a word) when that religion's followers are one of the world's biggest perpetrators of intolerance and violence .
But not all terrorists are Muslim.

There are evil folks within every religion. Islamic terrorists are very evil people and should not be compared to the true believers of the Islamic faith.

According to the very much pro-Muslim website http://www.irf.net/irf/main.htm (Islamic Resource Foundation) all Muslims are terrorists by definition. It is a Muslim's duty to use terrorism to cleanse the world of infidels so that a more peaceful world may exist.
Perhaps those giving this answer a thumbs down should actually go to the website I've mentioned and read it for themselves if they don't believe me.

Islam, with its frequent references to jihad, is easily corrupted by anti-social types to justify violence. But most Muslims are quite peaceful, and have no use for the bombers.
