Sorry Blair that I lost it for a minute back there. It just makes me so mad sometimes the answers we get on here. Some people are really on here with intelligent questions and concerns. A few narrow minded individuals have to put their one cent worth in just to make themselves feel better. Not to mention the Bible Thumpers. Not only do I believe in Jesus Christ, I am also saved by the blood, but I dont go around preaching falsehoods just to be able to make comments. Calling us tattooed individuals names is no different than calling Mexicans-Wetbacks, African Americans - Nigers, or White's -Crackers, Trailer Trash, etc etc. So many people hide behind the security of their computers, making comments they would never say in person. Its all really just a shame. At this point I would have to agree that the tattooed community is full of intelligent people.

As a whole, I find the tattoo community not only intelligent, but friendly, thoughtful, and accepting. I think "openness" is what gravitates others to us.

We get visitors all the time in our studio. They are not shop "groupies" so to speak. They truly like the environment and the interaction with the artists and other patrons because everyone is "real" so they drop in now and then just to pick up more business cards or view the latest photos, etc.

Everyone, (and I am referring to our client base of blue collar workers, college kids, store clerks, tradesmen, other professional artists, musicians, firemen, policemen, medical professionals, lawyers, ATF agents, and other FEDS, moms, and grand moms, etc.) treats each other with respect.

Sure there are the scratchers and other such pond scum in our community, but this is the minority that gets the "attention" and is USED so the haters have an "excuse" to do the hating.

The tattoo community is brilliant!!!

I agree, and I'm used to hanging out with high powered engineers and PhDs (never finished my own grad work - too much money to be made during the tech boom - so no doctorate here).

They're also nice, friendly & supportive too, something the profs and big geeks only have from time to time...

Of course, I'm talking about the regulars and a sampling of the passerbys, not the trolls and Beavis clones we see once & then they're gone.

people with tattoos seem to be more intelligent than those whith out cause we look at things as a big picure instead of focusing on one aspect that raelly doesnt matter too much in the long run. either that or tattood people come from all walks of life so you can get some nice rounded answers.

It's true, that's why I love to ask tattoo questions here because you guys tend to give really good educated answers. Maybe that's why there are questions about random things thrown in...like I want to be a model, because they know you guys are so smart :)

Definitlely, except for the random people who drop by every now and then just to "advise" people against tattoos because they WILL get hepatitus, and they WILL regret them later on no matter what they get.

those of us who actually know what we're talking about are definitely smart. but then there are those who answer in all caps and use one letter and number words that make me want to slap them!
