I know 100% that if I knew a man who could walk on water or even just turn water into wine before my eyes, that would be all I need. Why were our ancestors so dumb? I mean why didn't He wait until we were ready to see His will? I wish I lived in the time of christ thats for sure, maybe we wouldn't be in such a predicament if our ancestors hadn't screwed us over.

Human nature is what it is. That's why the mistakes made centuries ago are the same ones we make now, and will be the same ones we make in the future. As not all people will believe the evidence of their own eyes, there's no way for you to say that you would have believed in Jesus if you had been there to see the miracles. You might have believed, or you might have scoffed at them, calling them mere magic tricks. No way to tell what your response would have been.
