That's terrible. Yahoo!Answers is for speaking freely. I am sorry that is happening to you. I disabled my email option before I ever got started because I feared harrassment.

i enjoy the harassment,
actually a few of the people that have tried to harass me have ended up turning off their e-mail options.
my boss once told me
"arguing with you is like wrestling a pig in the mud, after an hour you realize that the PIG LIKES IT"

Which is exactly why I don't have mine on. It would be nice to chat back and forth with some people on this site, but there's too many jerks to make it worthwhile.

Sad, isn't it? I never activated mine. As stimulating as I would find open and respectful debate, I just accepted that the predominant responses would be rabid, ultra-fundamentalism. I was right.

I'm sorry to hear that. You have always been one of the saner voices here. I get 'em, too. Such sadness.

God cares, even if you deny him. The only difference between an athiest and a Christian is that both will have eternal life, just in very different places.

too bad.
You could just not answer them, wouldn't they tire of it?
Otherwise, you could disable it for a while, then enable it again after a week or so.
