I'm 15 and 5ft. 3. This summer I broke 90 lbs. and was escastic. I'm not anorexic or anything. I eat all day long. My mom said she didn't weigh 100 till she graduated high school. I'm so tiny all around. Is something wrong with me or do I just have a high matabolism and small bone density?

If your Mom was like that too I don't think you have anything to worry about

I was like that too. I didn't even weigh 90 pounds when I got married. My wedding dress was a size 0 and they had to take it in. My doctor used to call my mom to ask if I was eating and if I was keeping it down- in other words checking to see if I had an eating disorder! I would eat anything I wanted, and I was always hungry. I'm very petite too, not even 5 ft tall, so I'm even smaller then you are!!

But after a few years, and into my 20's, my metabolism slowed down and I started to put on weight. Now I can't seem to be able to get skinny again (of course it would help if I quit having babies! ;) ).

Anyway, there is nothing wrong with you. If you are active, and eating, or play sports a lot, your metabolism will be higher anyway. Don't stress about it, it's just you!! Be grateful for the time you have that you are so skinny!! It won't last forever!!

It's probably mainly genetics (bc you mentioned your mother) and you may be somewhat active / high metabolism . Im pretty tiny too & i eat a good amount, its great. I figure why not eat bc we can and it doesnt really affect us. So nothings wrong with you and don't worry about trying to gain any more -it will come naturally.

I think that if your mom was that small when she graduated then you are just built like her and you dont have anything to worry about.
