Uh...
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "gay behavior"...
I suppose that's because I'm not gay?
If you mean, having "pride parades", and such, then, yeah, I think that's pretty stupid. Who cares, really?
If you mean asking for marital status, I guess most of those people are worried that if the gov't changes our laws about homosexuality, somehow, that will make us all guilty. I disagree. Each of us will answer to God for his/her own sin...
It doesn't matter a bit too me whether or not gays get the same tax break as ordinary married people...I'm much more concerned over elderly people who can't get mararied because they'll lose their benefits, whatever their sexual preferences might be.
If the church intended to get an attitude about gay relationships, they should have done it before gay couples were given the right to adopt and raise kids as couples. Too late, now. As long as they are living together and raising kids, might as well accept it, they are "families", whether they fit our definition of the term or not.
Don't misunderstand me, here, I am a Christian, and I know that homosexuality is a sin...but I also know that other people's sins are not my business. I have enough of my own to worry myself with...
I might worry about it if someone starts demonstrating for the right to marry his goat....

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.
The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."
With love in Christ.

Before you start throwing insults concerning religion, maybe you should research. Most Jews have no problem with people who are homosexual. In fact, they have synagogues in bigger cities that are predominately gay. I can't speak for other religions however, I think your question shows your ignorance.

Jews have no problem with homosexuality, and neither do some Christians and Muslims.
