Wow to that "justice" answer up there. Is that how Christians really feel?

If God is going to act like that, then he is not as "merciful" as the church people like to think he is. Like making a child walk around for an entire day with soap in their mouth just because they said one bad word. Doesn't make any sense.

It is not my assumption to justify God's judgment, with my point of view. It is what God has declared and I believe the word of God, as written in the Holy Bible.
The Bible has proven to be accurate and true, although many refuse to believe. I believe the Bible is correct and that eternal damnation awaits those that refuse to chose to believe and obey God. In the Book of Revelation it is spoken," the smoke of their torment will go up forever".
The question should be why would anyone refuse God's salvation when the alternate eternity is so vividly described. God viewed this eternity as so awful, he sent his Son to take the penalty of your guilt, so you could escape damnation and eternal torment in the lake of fire.
A solid reason for believing is that the Bible teaches it. As to why I am unaware of all the reasons and I will leave that answer for others to answer.
I would also recommend going to a local Bible believing church Protestant or Catholic and get counseling on the matter.

Why I believe there is a place of eternal suffering? Because the Bible states it clearly in both the Tonakh and the New Testament scriptures.

The Bible has been 100% accurate with hundreds precise prophecies that have been accurately fulfilled. I would not bet that it is wrong about hell. The good news? God has provided a free ticket out.

There is NO ETERNAL SUFFERING. Once a person dies, all his sins are paid. If sins are paid, there is no reason to keep punishing such individual. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." I hope people will take this seriously because this belief in eternal suffering keeps many people away from God. Who wants to serve a God who believes in eternal suffering? I wouldn't because that only shows that he is cruel. Please read the Bible. There is no such thing as eternal suffering.

The very fact that God sent His Son to die on the cross PROVES
that HELL is real and that He does NOT want ANYBODY to perish
in hell forever with satan and the other fallen angels.

For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on HIM should NOT perish but HAVE everlasting life......For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might
be saved.... John 3:16-17

Because of adam's disobedience, satan got control of this world and he brought sin and death into this world and if God had just turned away and left us to our own demise, we would ALL be hoplessly condemned to hell, but God in His grace sent His Son to die in our place so that we would not HAVE TO spend eternity in hell.

THAT IS HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU!!!

Please DON'T listen to those who would tell you otherwise!!!

He would have sent His Son to die and His Son would have laid down His life for EACH and EVERY one of us even if we were the
only ones to believe. He didn't just die for EVERYONE -- HE DIED
FOR YOU -- and you have to RECEIVE by faith, and by CHOICE,
His atoning death on the cross as total payment for YOUR sins by
asking Him to be YOUR Savior.....but that's only if you want to.

God will never force YOU or anyone else to receive His Son as Savior and Lord....and so those who actually WANT to be save MUST, by an act of their free will and faith, RECEIVE Jesus as their Savior.

WHOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.

Also read Matt. 7:13,14.
II Thess.2:10-12
Romans - chapter 5.

Jesus Himself spoke of Hell throughout the gospels,....and He is the Son of God....He has no reason to lie to you or anyone else...
He is God and God cannot lie!!!

people REALLY need to go deeper than what is seen. Hell is described as the second death. that word for "death" in Hebrew refers to separation from God. If sin cannot exist in God's presence, then He will separate it from Himself. If God's abode is kept good and pure by His presence, then logically, where His presence doesn't abide will be devoid of goodness or purity.

Eternal punishment for a lifetime of bad choices is not justice.

And, I don't believe it.

xians need to think that the people they hate will burn forever.

they have a need to hate during life (clearly) and they think that will carry on to their image of an afterlife.
