As a follower of Jesus Christ and the catholic church we are taught to believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans and created life for us today. But as we all know the scientific explanation for the first humans is evolution. So , It was not Adam and eve or Adam and ed. They are used to teach a lesson , which is what the bible is meant for.
