just call your local dealers and tell them how much you have to spend and they should provide you with a number of cars in your budget. I'm a dealer and that makes it really easy for everyone. Hope this helps and good luck!

I am assuming that you are looking for a serious answer here, so far no luck I see. Try this. First, WHAT brand or type of car are you interested in. Once you make that decision find via your local phone book yellows or ask some friends that own the kind your interested in where they have their cars repaired. This may sound strange but bear with me here. Hopefully they will be using a good independent shop that knows their make of car well. Go down to the shop and ask then if they have any good "transportation" cars for sale. A "transportation" car is one that the shop may have purchased cheaply because the repairs on it where more than a customer wanted to put into the car or perhaps the customer moved up and just wanted to see the car passed on cheap. This may sound weird but we have these type cars all the time. We go over them and make sure they are reliable and safe. While they are sometimes a little "looks" challenged they prove to be a great buy. Look into it, it works. Good Luck and Good Hunting.

there is no real one stop place... if there was everyone would be buying from there and you would know about it.
So get online or call the dealerships or search the newspapers and local car listings ... goo bargain and search and keep searching until u find a good car with a good deal... jus type in 'used cars' in yahoo or google and you will find 100s of places... so get cracking!
and make sure your not being sold a lemon! make sure u know what ure buying is car that will run...
