I really dont think that the bible should fall into the hands of a child anyways. i think that the bible is too graffic of a novel to be read by a child. Hey i got an idea we can let those dicks at the fcc put parental discretion labels on the bible that way they would never be viewed by anyone 13 and younger.

Oh My Gosh!!! can you please leave us alone?!
Man you really hate christians don't you?
First of all I'd like to ask you What on earth has been proven wrong in the Bible???
Some of it isn't to be taken literally, which that statement alone has created a lot of controversy, so I wont go all into that, but there are things like Jonah and the Whale that we are supposed to learn from but not really say
"Hmm, we are supposed to belive a man got swallowed by a whale and spit out three days later?! This all must be a lie!"
sorry for all the rambling, but ur being a jerk

LOL. i'm certainly analyzing the bible on the 2d and in the previous i consistently thought it can be a humdrum old e book. yet to be ordinary, with each and all the gore and intercourse and violence, plus the miracles, it reads to me exceedingly much like a Steven King e book. I even have informed the two Jehovah's Witnesses whom i do the bible learn this and that they agreed with me to the quantity that they admitted the bible is gory, brutal and bloody, yet in addition spoke of that among all this there are a number of greater good and inspriring areas to it. oh, and that i permit my 11 year old examine it. the suitable version, no longer the kiddie one, and that they prefer it because of the fact it fairly isn't any longer uninteresting like they thought it could be. i do no longer see the factor of hiding the certainty sort them, what good could it do to attempt and lie to them with the a million/2-memories the youngsters bibles have? i do no longer think of you may desire to evaluate this to letting a new child watch porn. they get basically as plenty and greater advice in intercourse preparation at school and from the birds and bees talk at domicile.

I was given a Gideon Bible in grade six and read some it and right away said the prayers at the back of the book to be a part of God's family. I was always wanting to have a relationship with God. I was not "brainwashed", by my parents. Some of us plainly just love God and some don't.

you also fail to recognize how many wont read it because it is for one, such a long book, and its also THE BIBLE. ive never read it and im sure many christians have never actually read it like one would read a novel. so the children you would present this bible with would just put it in the corner to collect dust and forget about it without even opening to the first page

That statement is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard!..and shows your very lack of biblical knowledge. The Bible is more relevant today than it has ever been. Why don't you try learning what it really teaches...then try and make the same statement. God does not want anyone force fed religion. He wants worshipers that want him and love him.

My friend, it's time that you get real. First it seems that you do believe in God since your nickname does imply that God must exist since He fears you. Second, perhaps you are afraid of God which would explain the tone of the message you sent. Thirdly, many Xtians say they love God because he first loved them, which is a matter of faith and not force. Get real.

I agree.
Believers of different religions like to brag when one of their young ones memorizes their religious texts. Doesn't mean the child understands what he or she is quoting from rote memory.

It depends on the age of the child. Most of the stuff in that book is far from appropriate for elementary school aged children: murder, incest, etc.
I think most would reject it though.
