umm...
no, it's not dangerous to kiss before you are married.. if it's only kissing, then go for it.
oh boy... if you couldn't kiss anyone else but the person you are going to marry it would be a little boring now wouldn't it? :)

Dangerous? As in what? Will you get a disease from kissing? There are of course some diseases you can get (mono, a cold, the flu, and maybe a cold sore) it's nothing that you can't get from the air... you can't get Sexually Transmitted Infections from kissing.
I think most people argue that it leads to a "slippery slope" where you will want to do more... then more... then have sex with him. But that is a crazy argument. If you have any willpower at all, you can control how far you go (even how intense the kissing is).
My first kiss was when I was 13 -- long before I got engaged (I'm 29 now) and I wasn't anywhere near interested in sex. But kissing is nice... if you have a nice boy you want to kiss, it's fine. It's not dangerous.

Kissing itself isn't dangerous. It is an intimate physical act with another person, though, and enough kissing can lead to other desires. Kissing isn't the only part of the physical side of a relationship, it is the beginning of other things.
If you're really young, think about this...right now it feels like you're in love with the boy, but a couple of years from now you probably won't even remember his name. Becoming physically involved with another person (we're talking more than kissing here, think about what you've learned in health class) has the risk of pregnancy and disease, not to mention your reputation. These are things that can be hard for even a grown adult to deal with.
So for now, stick to holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek, or a friendly hug...leave the more serious stuff alone for a few more years.

If someone has coldsores, ulcers, or other mouth problems you can get the same thing if you have a cut or tiny tear in your mouth. The biggest problem with kissing is that the guy gets steamed up really quick and may want to do a lot more than you are ready for. If you are under 15, you need to wait until you are a little more sure of what you are doing. Even nice guys can turn into beasts when they are sexually excited.

Uh, yeah right- people in general still wear chastity belts and wear veils. Short answer- depends on which body part you plan on kissing. Sometimes a kiss is just a kiss and other times it is considered in some cultures to be the opening act of a concerto in g minor best played by the mouth harp.

Having the urge to kiss someone is not dangerous and has absolutely nothing to do with getting married. You find the boy attractive and that's normal. Try to get to know him.

Kissing is pretty safe unless the boy has cold sore, then you need to find another boy to kiss. That is all you can do that is safe though.
