from what ive read he is ok thank goodness. he has an injury to his foot where it got caught up in the pedals, pretty severe, but other than that say he's okay, and is going to run mexico. All I know is i saw that, and just hoped he was okay, and I was waiting for an update all throughout the rest of the broadcast, and during Windtunnel too. But thats what I've read. I just sure hope he's okay. He said he insisted he wasn't knocked out, just the wind knocked out of him, but seeing the in car I'm not so sure. I just hope he's okay like they say he is.

David is okay after what NASCAR says was one of the hardest impact ever recorded since the requirement of black boxes on the dashboard of the race cars. David was not unconscious as it might have appeared from the on-board camera view. He actually was unable to breath after the violent impact with the SAFER barrier in turn four. He did have a noticable limp due to a bad bruise on his left foot when it got tangled up with the pedals when the impact occurred. David was on ESPN2's NASCAR Now on Tuesday night and said he will be okay to go for Car of Tomorrow testing on Wednesday and Thursday at Bristol and this weekend's NASCAR Busch Series race in Mexico City.

Yes, He is ok thankfully. Even though he is not a driver I watch I do not wish an accident like that on any one. He had the wind knocked out of him but he is ok. NASCAR said it was a bad accident and looked as bad as Earnhardts.

i heard the crash was one of the hardest ever recorded and it was eeirly similar to Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s crash. but reutimann is alright, some bruises and bumps, but he does plan to race in the upcoming race.

Well other than being banged up a little, I am sure he is fine or it would have been all over the paper.

Hope that helps.
