Everyone is different, and if both of the people in the relationship feel like they want to have sex that much, more power to them ;) I'm sure that in the beginning it's just the new charm and it will even out eventually.
But, if the other person feels like it is too much, then they need to discuss the matter and maybe cut it to say about twice a day..;)
Just remember to keep yourself safe and also take good care of personal hygiene since especially the girl can get infected more easily if there is so much sex.

Over 40--yes, unusual.
Under 30--not unusual.
