I usually dye my hair at the salon, but it is so expensive and they never get it right so i wanna do it as home. Last time i did it at home it turned white and the time before that it turned a reddish color and i had to go to a salon to fix it. This time I have brown hair and i wanna get it blonde with NO red in it whatsoever because i do NOT look good as a redhead. Please help!!! My hair is naturally brown but i got it colored brown a few months ago and it is getting old.

If you are trying to lighten you hair more than 1-2 shades defenitely go to the salon. They get it done in one try, at home it will take youe a lot of hair dyes to achieve that color, which means a lot of damage to the hair. Defenitely look around or ask for salons that can help you achieve the color you want.

If you do it by yourself, you hair will be many different colors. You are lightening it one-two levels above. Go to a salon. Let a proffesional handle it.

why dye your hair blonde? just get highlights to enhance that brown you've got. Blonde is no good.

You are not a cosmotologist, when you go lighter it is lifting the color, not dying it. Leave it to a professional, trust me, it will cost alot more for someone to fix your mistakes.
