Sweetheart, calm down. There is no way that you are addicted to cigarettes after one day of smoking. Throw away the pack you bought today. Spend a day or two away from the person who gave you that first cigarette. The cravings will be gone almost immediately.

If this is your first day smoking, you aren't addicted. Just don't smoke anymore!!! You are 15!! Why would you want to start a nasty, dirty habit like that? Try sucking on a sucker, or eating some licorice or something. Licorice is fat free, so you won't gain weight eating it. Smoking can be addictive, and if you have an addictive personality, you can get hooked really fast. Just give it up completely and find something else to replace the smoking. Try reading at lunch instead, or hanging out with friends that DON'T SMOKE!!!

STOP SMOKING. It is SO SO SO SO dumb, especially if you are an athlete. You're ultimately taking away years of your life when you do this. If you want yellow teeth, smelly clothes, and a really bad cough your entire life, I would seriously rethink this smoking thing. If you are a smart girl who respects herself, you would quit at this young age before you get into trouble.

yeah, you're not addicted. you may feel a slight bit restless, but you're not addicted. basically, if you don't want to do it, don't. nothing is forcing you - just your mind. ask your friend to stay with you or you two should do something to take your mind off of it. ask her for help.
you didn't go and buy another pack. thats a load of bull. they do card, and i'm older than you.

It only takes one cigarette to be addicted. You made a bad decisoin in trying it and you will regret it for the rest of your life. Try smoking patches. Since its your first day you might be able to stop it. Sometimes you just can't stop our addictions. You have to be really dedicated and willing to fight the urge to smoke.

you can't tell if you're addicted after only one day of smoking. smoke for 3 months, and come back and ask the same question(?).

You can stop anytime but if you don't decide to stop, the agony of quitting only gets worse and worse. I stopped after twelve years but for the first few months I was a mess.
