Someone asked me if I was defining Fundamentalism correctly. This is the definition that I grew up with, but words change.

Fundamentalist Christians are defined as those who believe in
- The inerrancy of the Bible
- The virgin birth & the divinity of Jesus
- The doctrine of substitutionary atonement through God's grace & human faith
- The bodily resurrection of Jesus
- The authenticity of Jesus' miracles
- The anticipation of Jesus' bodily second coming

Does this definition suffice as fully descriptive of Christian Fundamentalism?

I personally hate labels.
I believe that God the Father sent his Son to die for all the sins of the world, past, present and future.
I know that Jesus will return.
I believe in the Bible translated correctly from the original languages.
I know that God, not the milk jug, on U Tube ,answers my prayers.
I know that God is the Victor.
I know that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Peace out.

Yes, I would say that sums it up right. Yes, we do believe in the Bible literally and 100%, including Jonah and the Whale.

Pretty much, yeah, in addition to the belief that the bible is 100% literal.

I think you have to add that the Bible is 100% literal. At least that's what most of them seem to say they believe.

Thought sounds about right... of course you should probably also mention that they usually consider the Bible to be the ultimate moral authority by which we ALL must live our lives.
