The simple answer is that there is no God.
The act of creation of a God persay is a sort of hope for the deliverance from life which is pointless in any form. Its a natural evolution of thought to describe what cannot be explained ; such as why do we exist ? what is our purpose ? etc.
You can term it as anything but never be able to describe it unless ofcourse you experience it yourself which expectedly enough can never be described.
So theres no point in looking for a God in the shortway through books or text. Either live your life to the best of your being or just simply enjoy the lazyness. You will soon discover for yourself the right from wrong and that will be your own definition.

The bible isn't that confusing!! They have bibles for teens that put the words into more recent language (if u want to call it that)!! They also have books that help translate the bible!!!
"Fire goes before him and consumes his foes on every side. His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth" ~Psalms 97:3-5
"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols but the Lord made the heavens" ~Psalms 96:4-5

God very often works through mankind and He did when He inspired these people to write the Bible. If a book from God dropped from the sky many people would still not believe it, they would say it was a space alien. Faith pleases God and people need to demonstrate that to God. Remember He is the Creator of us not us of Him. The game is His rules not ours. People may get away with things for a time but that will end someday.

There is not one recorded story in the Bible telling of God doing something himself. God has aways worked through a willing person. So to answer the question, there is now way God would have written the book himself, God just doesn't work that way.

1) its silly to say theres no contradictions, especially when your referring to the christian bible. there obviously are.
2) I actually read a story once that hinted to the existance of a book pretty much like you describe, I think they called it the book of Adam. that basically the text was written in the essence of God, and was utterly perfect. ... problem being that most people couldn't read it... or even see the words..
the whole thing is that it can't just be handed to you, any more than you can hand a college calculus book to a kindergardener and expect them to understand it.
add to that trying to encode things that have value in a timeless manner... its just not gonna work to make it obvious.

It is humans, not God who needed the Bible to be written. We are the ones who need the guidance and wisdom from the Bible, not God.
The best book about God is written in our lives. We are the only Bible some people read. If people can not see the "Good News" in our lives, they will never be led to read it from a book.

You'd think - from a Christian perspective, take Adam and Eve.
God walked in the garden with Adam and Eve. They knew him by sight. He spoke directly and clearly to them, and they to him. He gave a very simple command - don't eat from that tree - and they did.
As a father, I often wonder why one of my kids does exactly what I say not to do. Didn't you when you were a kid ever go directly against a parent / guardians instructions?
With my kids, telling a story often has more impact than telling the plain, obvious truth - I have no idea why, but it does. I guess I view our responses to God's word in the same way.
On the poem - not sure I get it.

God answered this Question in the Quran, read:
[7] And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"

Jehovah God is perfect and His way of doings things is the best way, even if we don't understand. Jehovah's God's Wisdom is beyond our understanding. The Bible is not confusing and does not contradict itself. All Scripture is inspired of God.

- Where are the "contradictions"?
- Where are the "doubtful verses"?
- What do you find "confusing"?
- How much of the Bible have you personally read?
- Have you applied the teachings in your life?
- Have you tested any of the scripture in your life?
